I'm finally back!

Its been far to long and i do apologise there has been some issues i had to deal with but i have some incredible news for you....

On the 1st March 2010 I GOT ENGAGED!!!

It was our two year anniversary and my boyfriend took me to the first restaurant we ever went to together and we had a lovely meal. Throughout the whole thing he kept fiddling with things so i kept asking what was up and he said nothing, so i thought nothing of it. By the end of our meal he grabbed my hand and told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of this life with me. He then put a large box in my hands and told me to open it, I had no idea what was going on so i opened the big box and inside was a small black box i pulled it out and inside was a beautiful ring, i think everything must have gone blank because i just couldn't stop smiling. He got up and came beside me got down on one knee infront of the whole restaurant and said 'Zoe will you marry me!' Of cause i lept up and said yes and the whole restaurant cheered. It has got to be the happiest moment of my life.

We have decided to get married sooner rather then wait so we have set a date for June 4th next year. So i will be keeping you all posted on designs, flowers and of cause the dress.

I'm sorry i have not been around but I'm back and ready to blog and I'm defiantly feeling a giveaway coming very soon!

I've missed you all and am currently catching up on your latest posts.

Laptop broken!

I need some advice on Youtube and Mac.

I have two questions I really need help with and if anyone can help me please leave a comment or feel free to email me.

1) I'm really feeling that I want to get on Youtube because unfortunately I really don’t have a good camera so when I take pictures for you guys you can't really see (hence why I have not done an eye tutorial yet.) So I’m looking at video recorders that have: Extremely high quality, a clear zoom feature and really good sound quality. Price wise I don’t really want to pay too much but I understand it will be in the three figure zone i.e. hundreds.

If anyone knows any good video recorders or is on youtube and have a great camera please let me know. Thank you.

2) Secondly I’m going for a Mac lesson tomorrow and afterwards I will be able to get £25 to spend on any Mac products so my question is what do you think I should get?

Barry M nail polishes great for Valentines!

I wanted a new nail polish and as most of you know Barry M do some of the best beautiful coloured nail polishes!

Looking through the rainbow of colours Barry M provides I found these two pretty pink colours:

I love both the colours they just court my eye as being really cute colours together for Valentine’s Day maybe? They were £2.95 each which is super cheap for how amazing Barry M nails polishes are, I’d defiantly recommend Barry M nail polishes they are long lasting, fast drying and normally only need one coat to get a full cover.

Okay so the first colour is called ‘Baby Pink’ and is number ‘119’ there it is on its own:

And the next colour I got is called ‘Pink Iridescent’ and the number is ‘264’ so here it is on top of Baby pink:

I love this combo I think it’s really cute and a really nice idea for Valentine’s Day if you don’t won’t to wear red.

New favourite lip balm!

I’m gunna keep this post very quick because the pictures explain better about how amazing this product is.

Okay basically I got a really nice gift set from Superdrug from my boyfriend at Christmas (thank you babe) and I was taking it all out of the box the other day to just try everything out basically. So inside was some really nice shower gel, bath salts, bubble bath and this coconut & shea butter lip balm.

While I was unpacking this my lips were completely dry so I thought I’d just rub a little of the lip balm on my lips just to see what would happen.

and after about a minute..... I’ll let the pictures do the talking......

Yeah that is amazing super soft no dryness what so ever and felt so nice on my lips I was just shocked I wasn’t expecting that at all from a Superdrug brand, I’m not saying Superdrug brands are bad, I love them I’m just saying compared to a Blistex stick I think this is way better.

The only down side is I’m not sure they sell this product on its own, I for one have never seen it but I really hope they do because it’s amazing!!

If you have dry lips then this product is defiantly a must buy!

My first Bumpits hairstyle.

I did a post a while back telling you I had bought a box of Bumpits which for those of you who haven’t read that post Bumpits are basically semi-circle shapes that slide in under your hair to give it volume. I have to apologise because I haven’t done a post yet to show you what they fully look like so I really am sorry guys it will be coming I promise but for now I thought I’d show you my first attempt at using them.

I basically combed my hair back then lifted the very top layer up and fitted the medium size ‘clip’ so to speak under nether. I then gently comb it in place and I decided to just put it up in a fun bun.
So this is what it looks like, I’m sorry it’s nothing special just a simple style.

Yeah so it gives a nice bit of volume not to dramatic, I wore this out to my course all day it didn’t fall out, nobody could see it, it looked natural and didn’t move at all! So it’s defiantly a thumbs up from me it’s just so easy and simple. When you go to take it out it doesn’t pull on your hair at all which I was amazed at you’ll see why when I show you the pictures, sorry there not up.

I actually really like this look it’s just simple and fun, something different.

I defiantly recommend this if you’re looking for volume easy or if you’re like me with long hair and it’s harder to get volume to stay this is great for that!

My heart goes out to Haiti at this time of sorrow I really cannot begin to imagine how they are all feeling at this time. Some without there families, friends, loved ones, homes, lives I really do pray that Haiti can somehow pull through.

Although I have little money as it is I know that Haiti needs it more than me, I would rather go without food if I knew it would feed them. So I will be donating some money to Haiti and I just hope that my little donation goes a long way.

Jenifer's Body nails from the film.

If any of you have seen the film ‘Jenifer’s Body’ you will have seen the actress Megan Fox’s trade mark nails. Now as soon as I saw them I new I had to have it. This is seriously simple all you need is any favourite hot pink colour you love and just a plain black, if you want to you can add a clear top coat as well.

So this is her nails:

What do you think yay or nay?
I really like it it’s a definite preppy yet dark nail design if you can call it a design.

In the film there is a scene where Jenifer (Megan Fox) burns her tongue (don’t worry it doesn’t hurt her and it’s not icky at all) I tried to take the same picture but I accidently slipped and burnt my tongue heh only I could do that but anyway I tried to copy just not with a lit lighter this time or my burnt tongue aha.

(Really sorry i'm not looking my best at all I took this late at night yesturday but you get the idea of her trade mark nails and lighter.)

My 10 quick tips No.3

1. Always clean your brushes at least once a week if you can do it more than that.

2. Make sure you ‘de’ hair your brush as often as possible because all the dirt from your hair stays onto your brush and you are then brushing it back onto your hair so make sure to ‘de’ hair as often as possible epically if you are like me with long hair.

3. Instead of using white eyeliner use a flesh toned eye pencil to create an opened eye as well just in a more natural way.

4. When you wash your hair don’t rub your hair because this can cause breakage and more knots. Instead pat your hair dry and if you can let it dry naturally.

5. If you wear hair extensions daily make sure you wash then at least every other day and also give them a hair mask once a week to keep them soft.

6. If you wear fake tan make sure to moisturise as much as possible i.e. 2-3 times a day morning and night as this really helps to keep your tan lasting longer.

7. If you use blotting paper make sure not to rub at all just make small little dabs with very light pressure. (I myself am not a fan at all of blotting paper but if you are I hope that helps.)

8. If you make a mistake when applying mascara and it happens to go on your eyelid simply use the very end of a cotton bud (or Q tip) and simply twist around once and any mistakes will come right off.

9. Very simple but effective, make sure under your nails are extremely clean at all times, one of the causes of blemishes on the face or body comes from bacteria and dirt underneath the nails that is spread every time you touch your face.

10. To help your nails grow and to help them become stronger try not to cut your nails instead file them when needed because cutting the nail can cause it to bend making it weaker and giving it a rough edge which can take time to grow.

Three Sleek pallets!!

I went to super drug the other day and they were doing an amazing offer on all their cosmetics. The offer was three make up items for the price of two, which I thought was rather good.

So I decided to be wise and think about what to get and the three items I chose:

Three sleek pallets for £10 to me is amazing it’s a saving of £5 which I think is great!
Sleek pallets are so rich in colour and are super high quality but at a cheap price, I really do recommend you getting your hands on one of these as they really last and blend amazingly.

The fist pallet I got was the ‘Original’

This is one of my favourites as you can see it’s a mixture of colours that I love as you can use this for anything?

Number two is ‘Sunset’

Wow now Sunset is so rich in colour and at first looks like it’s going to be really bright but actually it’s not as bright as you think it is. Bright colours are great for summer time, nights out and there great as a build up colour.

Lastly I got ‘Storm’

Storm is a great palette for any colour Smokey eyes I think it has a great selection of dark colours and a great set of naturals as well.

All in all I’m really pleased with this I love sleek and I can’t wait to get the whole set of palettes.

Few days late but Happy New Year!

Once again I'm sorry this is late but I hope you all had a wonderful happy new year. I have to say New Years Eve for me was one word 'Vodka' ....Yeah I may have drank rather a lot starting of the night at 3.00pm with the drink.

So this is what I wore out for my night out on the town:

But New years isn’t just about the drink it’s about starting a fresh with a whole new year of decisions, fun, dreams, wishes, love, friendship and so much more. It’s about enjoying life for another year and I for one have a feeling this year is gunna be a good one for me, I just have a feel.

So my new year’s resolutions are:
GET FIT! (I think everyone has this every year but I love working out it just gives me a buzz)
Get into a good job
Tell someone I forgive them
Become a stronger more confident women
BLOG MORE!
Enjoy life to the full
Finish decorating my flat

Mini Elf haul disappointment.

I ordered a few things from Elf the other day and I just thought I'd share what I got because I'm not very happy with most of it. So I'l give you my honest opinion as always with these products.

All four of the items are from Elf's Minerals Collection.

So I got these two eye shadows:

One is a darkish purple and the other is a pale/goldie colour.

I'll start with the purple which is called 'Royal'.

As you can see from the picture its very shimmer which I'm not that bothered about but on terms of the colour if I'm honest I don't think I really like it. Its a very nice colour if you lightly use it but if you layer it at all it goes a very dark muddy colour which you can probably see from the picture. So I would say its okay for light use but I am disappointed as Royal says to me rich deep purple not a deep muddy colour.

Next we have the pale/goldie colour which is called 'Elegant.'

Now this one is a completely different story, its really rich in colour and layers perfectly without blotching like the 'Royal.' So I really do have great reviews for this one because its a great everyday colour if you like shimmer. I do recommend this one as it reminds me of a really nice beachy colour.

The last things I got were two lipsticks:

I will give you a review on both but to be honest they arnt good and I do feel sorry saying this because I love elf but I'm not gunna lie to you or me.

So this first one is called 'Runway Pink'

In terms of colour its completely different to what it looks like on the online picture but I'm not that bothered because its an okay colour. The problem I have with both the lipsticks is that when you first put them on they are just about okay but after a little while you lips look like they are covered in grease. This happened to me the other day when I was try them out and it looked alright when I left the house but when I got to my work it looked absolutely awful, extremely greasy and not nice to look at!

For those who want to know this one is 'Natural Nymph'

and again has the same story of turning horrible.

So to be honest I'm really not that happy with this haul except the 'Elegant eye shadow' but I would really like to know if any of you have had this problem with the lipsticks or if its just me?

Please don't be put off by Elf because they have some extremely nice products but I just wouldn't recommend these.

Bumpits?

I've been really board with my hair recently because it's just so flat all the time, I don't have any layers any more and because my hair is so long the weight of it pulls my hair down, which basically means no volume what so ever.

I have maybe been thinking about having layers again but as my heart isn't 100% init I don't think I'm ready to give it the chop just yet.

So I came across these little beauties in Clair's Accessorise:

As you can see from the picture it's basically three small bridge shape grips that sit underneath your hair creating the volumized big hair. Which to me looked to good to pass up.

They where £10.00 for the three grips and it also comes with a mini pin tail comb and a massive booklet showing all the different styles you can do.

As I have only just got them I can't give you a full review but I will be very very soon as I'm desperate to see if they will give me some volume and stay in.

Do any of you have any tips for long hair like mine of how to volumize it or have you tried out Bumpits and got on well? Let me know.

Lime Crime make up.

For those of you who love bright make up and I mean really love bright make up then Lime Crime is for you.

This has got to be the most brightest coloured make up i have ever seen.

So Lime Crime is a newish rage that came out in 2008 created by Doe Deere and i love the way it just makes you think of candy. As you can see from the pictures its super bright and so rich in colour! Lime Crime was a website that I came across one day and I just really wanted to share it with you because although it's really bright I am actually really interested in getting something to try.

So it's that time again!

YES IT'S CHRISTMAS... (in a few weeks!)

But I for one love the countdown to Christmas I think it's just a really fun and exciting time getting ready to enjoy a beautiful day with your family. I have to say Christmas to me is just about family time, I'm not bothered about presents and expensive meals however nice they are. I'm just happy to spend sometime with my family and I just love seeing the look on my boyfriends face when he opens his stocking in the morning.

So what I would love to know is what Christmas means to you?

Batiste dry shampoo.

Batiste dry shampoo was one of the items I was sent by the lovely Alex and the other day I was having a real lazy day and I just couldn’t be bothered to wash my hair. So I decided to try it out as a quicker solution then having to dry my hair for ages.

If I am totally honest I wish I had taken photos because the result was amazing!!!
I really didn’t spray alot on, I’ve noticed people spray it really close to their heads and it ends up leaving really big white powder patches all over their hair meaning that they then have to go and wash it off. But I only sprayed a tiny amount on each section of my hair and from about 30cm away and there was no white patches, I didn’t have to wash it off and it still looked clean, healthy, shiny and smelt beautiful. So a tip to help you is less is more and dont spray it to close.

I extremely recommend this product as a quick solution when in between washes and at just £1.95 I think it’s defiantly worth it.

You can get this pretty much every where as far as I know in stores like ‘Boots’ and ‘Superdrug.’ So defiantly take a look.

Bubble bath?

I love Bubble bath! I think there is nothing better than to coming home after a long days work, have your boyfriend run you a bath and diving into a paradise of bubbles!

So for those of you who like Bubble baths like I do heres a little post for you.

I’m always on the look out for the best bubble baths around and to be honest so far I’ve had pretty pathetic bubbles. I am known for tipping nearly the whole bottle in one bath because I really do just love to be surrounded in bubbles.

Now this is a new bubble bath iv recently got and I am liking it alot although the bubbles aren’t massive, I don’t have to tip a whole bottle in to see a result.

So this is the ones I’ve been using:

You can get these one Asos for £2.00 or I got mine from pound stretcher at the same price. For their smell I’d say it’s okay not great but okay, the raspberry has a much more stronger smell then the strawberry.

But..... The best part I have to say is that they have recipes on the front of how to make a strawberry cheese cake or a raspberry pavlova which I think is a lovely touch.

All in all until I find the perfect bubble bath, these will have to do.

There is also a few other flavours I haven’t tried:

Getting to know me.....

I wanted to do a little post to help you all get to no me abit better. Also to get back in the swing of things as I haven’t been able to get some spear time for blogger this past week so here’s a couple of facts for you about me and if you would like to do the same feel free to do so.

I’ll start with one of my favourite foods, which is of cause.......
SUSHI!!

I for one love Sushi, I can eat as much as I like without feeling bad because Sushi is full of good things and really healthy.

Strawberries!! Yes a second healthy favourite that I really could just keep munching and munching away on.

Another favourite would be my boyfriends homemade rolled lamb stew, it is one of the nicest things I’ve ever had. Plus it’s dead cheap to make.

Lastly you can’t beat a good Chinese or a big slap up Christmas dinner I love em.

Moving on to my favourite TV programs.
For this without a doubt it’s going to have to be...

Supernatural!

I love this program to the bone I think it’s so interesting all the things that happen and I love the fact it takes you away so you can get lost and hocked on something that is different to a normal TV soap.

In all honesty Supernatural is probably one of the only things I watch as I don’t get much time for TV. Although I will sit down to a good dose of smallville or masterchef.

Onto films....
In all honesty I don’t have a film that stands out as being my favourite. I love watching films, one of the best things to do is to sit on a comfy sofa with your boyfriend, a bag of popcorn and a good film. Ahhh you can’t beat it.

I would defiantly say I’m a horror girl but not for the gore more for the adrenalin rush that goes with it if that makes sense.

Getting to know me abit better.....
Well here’s something you might not no, I am currently working in a very lovely bridal store and I love it. As well as working hard it has its benefits, for example try on £1000 tiaras all day is something I can live with.

Role model?

In my personal opinion I don’t think people should have role models to follow I believe we should all create are own styles and live’s how we think they should be to us and not to other people if that makes sense. I’m not saying role models are bad, just that if we have them we should'nt go so far as to trying to be them. So therefore I actually don’t have a role model but I do have people I admire for their personality and style.

So here’s a few for you just so you get an idea.

My first person is probably not the most well non person put she is still famous.
Kendra Wilkinson....

Okay the first thing you are probably thinking is why would you admire an x playboy model. For one I’m not choosing her for the modelling side, I’m not a guy. But I’m choosing her for her personality, she has such a bubbly character and a great sense of humour that I think is important in life. The main thing I like about her is that no matter what people think of her she does what she thinks is right in her life. For example her mother tried to convince her not to get married or have a baby at 23 but she listen to what she wanted and trusted herself to do the right thing. Now look at her she has a beautiful baby, gorgeous husband and a lovely home.

It’s important that we follow are hearts and not other peoples even if our mothers think they are helping us sometimes at the end of the day it will always be our decision in life.

Now this next one is probably one of the most popular people to admire, and it is of cause.....
Marlin Monroe.

Marlin Monroe is still one of the biggest icons around with her beauty and well known phrases. The thing I like most about Marlin is that she had the confidence of being a good size 12/14 and not a 0 like most models here today aspire to be. In life it’s important to know that whatever size you are your still beautiful.

Favourite animal?
A favourite animal I would say would have to be a beautiful white tiger!

They really are beautiful animals.

Now this part is very important to me, I would defiantly say the most important person in my life. My gorgeous boyfriend Chris.

We’ve been together 2 years now and we are still as much in love as the first day we met, he is the one who can just bring a smile to my face even when I don’t want to, and know when something is up even if I haven’t said anything. I really am truly in love with him and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Okay this next one is a confession, so be prepared to be scared (hey I’m at poet and didn’t know it :P) Anyway when we were all younger we all started off with our own style and mine was defiantly a bizarre choice but I must admit fun while it lasted but not so sophisticated as I am now.

My old style was ....Big hair......Big bold clothes........Heals.........Tiny outfits..........Bows...........So much pink

............Yes I was Trashy I had the big hair the pink extensions, the miniskirts, the heals, the hole deal so there is my confession for you all to humour at. Aha

So it’s the little things in life that bring the biggest smile and I thought I’d share a few that bring a smile to me. Of cause my boyfriend does but we’ve done the soppy part.

The one top thing that melts my heart and brings a massive smile and a twinkle to my eye has got to be a Red Rose. I am a complete sucker for red roses I love them so much they really do just make me smile.

Another has got to be bows, strange I know but I just think they are so cute.

Cupcakes are another there are just so many styles of cupcakes and they just bring a smile when you eat them.

Lastly I would say that unique necklaces would be a big craze of mine. For those of you who have seen my tea cup and spoon necklace you will no I love these sort of things.

Lastly I thought I would share my 3 favourite make up brands with you.

Of cause Mac,
I love Mac I think there amazing in everything they do with their makeup.

Nyx is so cheap but still an amazing brand as well.

And of cause I newer favourite Majolica Majorca, I simply adore this make up it’s just so rich in colours and has such beautiful packaging.

I really am sorry about the length of this but I hope it gives you an idea of my style and maybe an interesting read for you. Anyway there will be lots more posts for you very soon.

A little cute lipgloss.

I thought I would show you all this very cute lipgloss I picked up the other day.

Strawberry cupcake! Cute right...

Like most people I’m a sucker for little cute things that make you smile, and this certainly makes me smile. Cupcakes, Strawberries and lipgloss awww!!

Anyway so I got this the other day for £1.00 very cheap and when I opened it I wasn’t sure id like it because its alot darker then what I’m used to. But after trying it I love the colour!

I actually really like the colour it goes on smooth and full of colours not just pink but purple and blue under tones with a slight slivery gold in there to. It’s defiantly out of my normal comfort zone but I still like it. Even though it’s not a sticky lipgloss I still think that it’s nice to have a change and try something new.

The smell is okay, because it’s only a little cheap lipgloss of cause it’s not going to be amazing but I actually think it’s nice. I would say it’s a mild fruit sent but still nice.

So if you want something cute to smile at I would go get one of these little babies to smile at. I found this in a joke shop for £1 but they also sell the exact same lipgloss in Peacocks in a three set for £2 or £3.

Bodyform are giving away a very amazing lipgloss by Jemma Kid worth £10! They’ve got the lipstick in three different colours, red, bright pink and nude pink. I bet you can guess which one I went for.

So I chose the nude of cause and in all honesty I love it. The Bodyform is priced at £1.25 which is amazing value since the item you’re getting is worth £10.

In terms of the colour I think it’s a winner it really is a nice gentle everyday colour on its own or on top of a Mac or Barry M (which I’ve tried and looks great.) I love the fact that no matter what angle you are at it still catches the light on your lips making them fuller and plumper with a beautiful shine.

Another bonus would be the smell as it’s just lovely. I would say it’s a definite fruit smell but not to much that it over powers it, but enough that it makes you smile.

For those of you like me who wanted to try out something from the Jemma Kid range then I defiantly think this is a great way!

Defiantly a recommendation from me at £1.25.

Yes you heard the title I’m still confused Twilight is a vampire film............ Now its a make up?
When I first heard this I thought it was a joke or even if it wasn’t its not going to be very good... Actually looking that the website I’m really intrigued by it, perhaps a purchase or two.

Converted to lush?

I went into lush the other day for the first time in ages, I don’t normally go in there because I never really get drawn in by soap I’m more of a shower gel girl. But this time I had a proper look and found there cold face mask range.

The lady inside was very very helpful in showing and telling me how each one of the masks worked and which would be best for my skin. I’m not going to list all of the names because I want to keep this short but basically theres a face mask for any type of skin.

So because I have quite oily skin the lady recommended two different ones, the first ‘Cupcakes’ (love the name) was a deep chocolate brown colour that didn’t look to appealing although I am thinking of try it out at some point. She then recommended a different one ‘Catastrophe Cosmetic’ now this one just looked amazing I really wanted to eat it (don’t eat any lush products!) It was a light purple with tiny blueberries sticking out of the top it just looked so lovely.

So both facemasks pretty much had the same effect they both cleansed the skin and help prevent breakouts as well as helping to stop oily skin.

Of cause I went for the second mask and I’m so glade I did.....

This has now got to be one of my favourite masks because It really does work! You have to keep these particular facemasks in the fridge so when you come to putting them on they just feel so refreshing. After the ten minutes I washed it off and noticed a difference straight away. Any red patches on my face had died down in colour, I have a few red dots on my face that just began to fade and the best part was I had an oily free face all day!

I would defiantly give this a 10/10 and I really hope this mask works as well for you guys as it does me. Blueberries are a natural ingredient and are super good for you, all the products used in this pot are totally natural and have a feel good factor to your skin.

Defiantly worth a look if your near lush anytime soon.

Part two is all on the beautiful ‘Majolica Majorca’ products Estee bought me and I have to say I love every single thing she picked out.

I’m gunna start with the lovely little eyeshadows she bought me. So from left to right:

I love this colour I think it’s so much better than the boring black I always use.

This mascara really made me smile this is something I’ve been trying to get my hands on for a very very long time so I’m really grateful I got it. When you first pull it out it looks like its covered in hairs but really it’s not it’s just the formula and I actually really like it I can’t wait to try it properly.

Again like the eyeshadows the texture is great on the blusher and I love the colour it’s just really pretty.

These little Palettes just bring a smile to my face there so pretty there packaging and the product itself. The textures again amazing and the colours are perfect! I love them.

A few weeks back I decided to do a swap with the lovely Estee of ‘Cherry’ and I was so happy when she said yes because her blog is one of my favourites she writes lovely things. So we both got to work in buy products for each other and this is what I got together for her:

Now on to the amazing things I was sent. It’s in two parts because there is so much, I will try and keep it quick and simple.

Yesterday I ran to the post office to pick up my lovely package from Estee and when I opened it all I could do was smile, she had given me loads of amazing Japanese products which was a dream come true for me because I love Japanese makeup!

First thing I did was read the beautiful card because it was covered in roses and bows (my favourite!) What was written in side was just so lovely and personal and I really loved it so thank you Estee for taking the time to write that for me.

Okay so let’s start with what I got first off I’m gunna start with the beautiful pair of earrings she sent me because they are just so pretty. (sorry its the wrong way.)

Next was SKINFOOD! I’ve wanted to try out Skinfood for ages now and I’m really happy I’ve now got the chance. She sent me:
Skinfood – Aloe Vera Foaming Cleanser
Skinfood – Black Bean Nose Pack
Skinfood – Capuccino Mousse Foam
Skinfood – Food Therapy Water in Pear Essence
Plus some really pretty jem body stickers that will look so cute around my belly bar.

She also sent me a full Skinfood product Skinfood – Peach Sake Pore BB Cream SPF20 PA+, which I can’t wait to try out because it smells amazing.

The next product is something I’ve never had anything like before and also Estee left a note on the bottom say it was famous in Japan which made me love it even more. The product is ‘Palgantong Make-Up – Theatrical Powder Original Beige’ the texture is just so soft and lovely on the skin as it feels so light.

She also got me a lipgloss from Stila in ‘Apricot 08’ which again was great because I haven’t got round to try out Stila products yet and I really like the colour of this.

So that was part one with some beautiful things, part two is all the ‘Majolica Majorca’ products she bought me. Thank you Estee I love everything!

Another ELF update.

Yes it’s another ELF update I do apologise but it’s a good one. Before I start I just want to say another apology I haven’t been posting for you in a while due to the fact I’ve just started my new course and in all honesty I hate it so I've been quite down about it, but I will be back to my full time blogging very soon sorry guys.

Now the ELF part, as normal I was looking through make up websites and I noticed that ELF had completely revamped there website and products! They’ve introduced so many new products that I can’t wait to try out! But the best part is there now even cheaper!! So I will defiantly be placing an order and doing another review for you, manly the studio range because I love the look of their eye shadows.

So I do apologise for not posting but I will be doing alot more and not just ELF.

Alexandras Package!!!

I received my package from Alexandra for coming 3rd in her competition, I dressed up as a Greek goddess which I can tell you was great fun! I along with the 1st and 2nd place where aloud to take it in turns to pick prizes and I have to say I’m really really happy with what I picked. Being 3rd I was aloud to pick four items so this is what I picked:

Gosh lip gloss – 009
Barry M nail polish - 134 yellow
Collection 2000 gel eyeliner - 1 glitz
Batiste dry shampoo – tropical

As you can see from the picture Alex not only was kind to send all that to me but also to add one of my favourite face masks!!!!! A chocolate bar and a very very lovely letter that was so sweet because it was personal to me so I love the fact she took the time to get to know me. I do hope to stay good friends with Alex as she’s just gone through a very hard time, bless her.

So for the swatches and proper piccys here we go:
First of all I chose the Gosh lip gloss in number 009, because I have always wanted to try out Gosh’s lip glosses but have not got round to it yet so that was a great pick. Plus it’s a nude colour which I love!

Next was something very different for me as I’ve never really bought anything from Collection 2000 purely because I’ve had some bad reviews but they couldn’t be more wrong I love this glitter eyeliner it’s a beautiful silver colour that actually stays on more then an hour! So I was really pleased I went for something different because the outcome was great!

Next was a Yellow nail polish by Barry M which was another gamble because yellow nail polishes don’t always work out great for me but like the Collection 2000 one I love it! The colour is bright but a nice bright and I can’t wait to paint my nails with it.

So lastly was a product that I had heard alot about but never been brave enough to buy. My last pick was the Batiste dry shampoo in tropical, now I’ve never used a dry shampoo before so this was a great chance for me to give it ago. I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet but I can’t wait because it smells amazing!!!

I defiantly think the face mask and chocolate go great together and that face mask is my fav because it smells amazing! Nice idea there Alex!

Say hello to my new babies....

I saw these bad boys on Yunies blog and I fell in love, the down side though was there price I believe it was about $148.00 which is about £90.28 rather alot so saddened by the fact I couldn’t afford them I went on holiday and totally forgot about them. Then one fine sunny day I left the tent to go shopping. Looking around the shops in a daze I suddenly stopped......

Was it.... it was I had spotted the exact same shoe standing on the highest shelf with a price tag of £30! So naturally I ran in grabbed them and shouted gimmie gimmie gimme!

Still to this day I love them, there is absolutely no difference between the ones Yunie got and the ones I did except the name and the price, thats it. I feel amazing in these shoes I just want to wear them 24/7.

This was one of the NYX colours I ordered from 'MsCuppyCakes.com' and it’s basically just a natural fleshy colour but if I’m 100% honest I don't know if I like it enough to wear it more than a day. Although I have tested it with white tips and it seems to look okay for that so not all hope is lost.

But I was very happy with the price at $3.25 which is basically £1.98 BARGIN!!

ELF Package!!

About three days ago I purchased some products from ELF cosmetics and I’m going to be honest and say I was so amazed at the quality!! I’ve never bought a whole set of products and been 100% happy, so Elf has one my award by far.

They sell a range of different cosmetic products for out standing prices, I ended up spending £31.00 and I still want a whole load more. They even have a bonus that if you spend over £30.00 the postage is free, but even if you don’t there postage is so cheap.

So thats 14 products for £31.00 ...amazed I am!

Okay for my reviews I’ll start with my ELF ‘Studio’ range.

I got two compacts that I adore, the colours and textures are just lovely.

Blush and Bronzer Compact £3.50
This is a lovely product, the blush is a really nice baby pink but a wearable pink. I sometimes find blushers can be too harsh or to bright but I happen to think this is a nice simple pinkie blush. For the bronzer it’s a gorgeous middle tone brown which is perfect if you want that summer glow but you don’t want it to over the top, then this product is defiantly for you and me.

Bronzer £3.50
I ordered the ‘Warm Bronzer’ from the bronzer collection, I felt that this would be the right shade for me and I couldn’t be more right its perfect the tones mix together to create a simple warm tone to your skin and really gives a nice summer look.

Under Eye Concealer and Highlighter £3.50
This comes in three shades so I got the middle colour ‘glow/light’ and I’m so glad I did I was going to go for the first one which is a very pale colour but I was right in thinking it would be to light because the one I got is perfect. The concealer is easy to blend and work with and the highlight although some people are put off by the fact it’s a pure white colour I would actually say it’s great. You don’t want your highlighter to be too dark otherwise it becomes a concealer, you want it to take away the shadows from your face (nose area, eyes, lip area, brow bone ect.)

Eyebrow Treat And Tame £3.50
I went with the lightest colour for my eyebrows because my hair there is very fair. The mascara brush is really easy to work with and just brings out a little colour at a time so you don’t end up putting too much on. The second part to the product is the brow treatment which helps to restore damaged hair on the eyebrow and also helps re-growth which is a bonus for people who waxs there eyebrows too much.

Nail Polish £1.50
They have a variety of different colours to choose from so I was spoilt for choice. I decided to get ‘Light Pink’ (baby pink colour),’ Gum Pink’ (bright pink), ‘Clear’ (what it says) and ‘NEW - Mod Mauve’ (very pretty deep purple.) The nail polishes dry extremely fast which is great if you’re on the go plus you only need two-three coats which dry’s in a few minutes.

So for Elf’s normal cosmetics I got

All Over Colour Stick £1.50
Wow is all I can say with this product because you can do so many things with it, you literally can use it everywhere. There are four different colours to choose from so I choose the lightest which is ‘Lilac Peatal.’ It has a beautiful shine to it as well as an amazing sent that smells divine.

Hypershine Lip Gloss £1.50
I picked up two of these because they had some really nice colours. I picked up ‘Blossom’ and ‘Joy’ they both are lovely colours.

New Moisture Care Lip Colour £1.50
The difference between the Hypershine lip gloss and this one is that, this one is alot thicker and uses a sponge instead of a brush on the end. Again these had lots of really nice colours so I picked up two from there range called ‘Baby lips’ and ‘Bark.’

I picked up one of their nude lipsticks in ‘Nicely nude’ and it’s a really nice nude pink and very creamy. It does last and doesn’t feel too harsh on your lips.

So I will be ordering again and again from Elf because they are so cheap yet have beautiful products I really do recommend you have a look for yourself.

My 10 quick tips no2.

1. If puffy eyes are causing a problem try running a teaspoon under cold water, and then place it on your eye for a few seconds. Close the eye, then using the rounded edge massage gently by rolling back and forth over the eye area. Repeat this on the next eye and you will see a difference.

2. Dark circles are always a problem and never seem to go... so try this, take 2 teabags that you have already used put them in the freezer until they are cold (30 mins maybe less) then put them on your eyes. Use this tip daily and watch your dark circles fade away.

3. Pores getting you done, I no they do me so I tried this, this is my natural remedy to help pores - Ingredients: one green tomato, one table spoon of honey. Using a blender puree the tomato with the honey, apply to your clean face, and leave on for 20 minutes, then wash. You should see a difference although sometimes it takes a few goes. This solution is fine for using regularly as it is a natural remedy and doesn’t contain harsh substances.

4. Always make sure you take your make up off before going to bed, even leaving it on once can create spots and impurities the morning after.

5. If you've run out of makeup wipes simply use a baby wipe, they are just as effective plus they can also remove make up stains from clothes.

6. If you feel a spot coming quickly wrap an ice cube in a thick cloth and hold it on the suspected spot, hold it on and off for 15-20 minutes! This should spot the problem, although not always.

7. (Please note first that this next tip is for bad acne and large spot areas, not for little spots every now and again.) To help take care of enlarged skin pores you need lemon juice and orange juice. Mix the juices and apply all over your face in upward and outward stokes. Wash it after 10 minutes. This process should dry up some impurities and also clean all the dirt out. Remember not to do this too often as lemon juice can dry your face to much. This is also a good facial mask for oily skin! But again not to be used every day, once or twice a week at the most.

8. Another tip for if you’re feeling a spot coming is to try applying a small dab of Apple Cider Vinegar to the spot before bed, and you should defiantly see a difference.

9. Wearing a darker lipstick can make your teeth appear whiter!

10. Make sure to always clean your make up brushes once maybe even twice a week. You should snip away any frayed ends to give that flawless application and then wash with your favourite face wash or makeup remover for best results.

Nail art attempt one.

My order from Mscuppycakes came a few weeks ago (review will be done soon) and two of the items I had ordered were two NYX nail art ink pots, in black and white. So I had to just dive in and try them out.

Now for the look I came up with for you (it’s my first attempt so it’s not going to be great.)

The base coat was Rimmel London’s 60 seconds vinyl stars I’m not sure the name as I’ve had it awhile its warn off. So the first thing you will need to do is coat the nails with your base coat and make sure it is 100% dry otherwise it will not work.

Next I simply used the NYX black ink pot to draw in the bottom right corner, a medium size line. The key tip for this is make sure just the brush’s tip has paint on and move slowly to avoid mistake. Once you reach the end of your line curve it over slightly.

Repeat this on each side of the line you just drew, on the top side of your line make the line longer and still curved. On the bottom side make the line smaller then the middle and curve.

Once you are happy with your black lines move to the top left of your nail. You’re going to do the whole process again except backwards.

So first things first this time start with the smallest, it makes it easier if you start with the biggest our smallest line for the top one. Now before you start, you want the white lines to be slightly smaller than the black. So repeat the whole steps of the black lines and make sure you curve at the end otherwise it will look wrong.

So the end result should look something like this (please excuse my attempt as I think I could do it abit better):

There you are I hope this helps some of you, I happen to like it alot as it reminds me of something tropical, I’m not sure why though. Hope you enjoyed it.

So basically most of it was earrings as they had loads I really liked, so seven pairs of earrings, one ankle bracelet (very cute with sandals!) And two hats. I defiantly think I got some good ones with the earrings and I will be going back again before the offer runs out again.

Let me introduce you to..... MR TEDDY! Okay so for the soppy story. The day before valentine’s day my boyfriend told me he hated valentine’s day and didn’t want anything, so me being dumb fell for it. At midnight me and him decided to call it a night and go to bed so I went into the pitch black room. My boyfriend then turned on the light and said 'happy valentine’s day!' Sitting on my pillow were two beautiful presents, one a stunning heart shaped necklace (I never take off) and this beautiful bear. So I was super happy but felt silly I hadn’t got anything, although I did nip out later and get him a little something :D.

So there’s my little story for you I hope you enjoyed it!

I'M GREEK!

So heres my entrie, hope you all like it i have to say i spent ages on this, first choosing a country then finding a greek women/goodess. Before I went away on holiday I received an email from one of my followers Sophie telling me I had won her giveaway!! And I new as soon as I got back home I had to say thank you in a big way. I was so shocked as I’ve never won anything. So I was quick to email back with my address. Two days later I received my package from her and it just gets better!!!

It came really nicely wrapped with a really nice letter that had taken Sophie a while to write I would imagine and that to me alone was an extra loverly thing to have. But then when I opened it to grab the goodies inside there was not only the two nail polishes I had won but an Elf quattro eyeshadow in smokey shades ‘Drama,’ four blush samples ‘Cupcake’ ‘Cheeky cheeky’ ‘Doll face’ ‘Sweet cheeks’ and my favourite Lilylolo cosmetics mineral finishing powder sample ‘Flawless silk’ which I will defiantly be buying a full product of!

Gone fishing...

Grey Nails?

Whilst looking at my pink nails one day I decided I was board of the same old nail polishes and wanted something completely new and different from anything I’ve had before.

So first things first where do I start.... which cosmetic range has the best selection of colours... hmm ... ah yes Barry M of cause *big smiles.*

As most of you know by now from my previous post Barry M have an amazing selection of colours! In every colour you could think!

Time to decided... Pink – got, Blue – got, Orange – no, Green – nah, Gray?
Out of all the colours the gray stood out at me and I have to say I’m still after a week in love with the colour. I think it’s a just a lovely simple everyday colour for night, day and even work.

(Please excuse my bad phone I couldn’t find my camera.)

Again I recommend any of Barry M cosmetics because for one they are beautiful and have amazing colours but most important they last! I hate it when you buy a nail polish and it lasts a matter of hours! But I can promise Barry M last days!

FOTD – Hairstyle, simple and quick.

I’ve been board of my hair for a week now and I just decided to try something different, simple and quick. So this is the look:

(Please excuse me and concentrate on the hair because I look abit ‘crapy’ today)

So it’s probably a common look most of you know, but for me it was just something I hadn’t tried and wanted to. It’s basically a simple plate done on the right hand side underneath the hair, you then clip the left hand side up and bring the plate across your forehead at which ever height you wish. Then simply clip it to the left hand side with a bobby pin and let both sides of your hair down. You shouldn’t be able to see any clips or where the plate starts.

That was my quick hairstyle I hope some of you like it and want to try it because it is quick and easy and looks pretty.

My 10 quick tips No1.

My 10 quick tips is something I want to do more regularly, so i can share with you my beauty tips and secrets that i have found over the years that really do work and help alot! So heres your first batch.
Enjoy and i hope it helps some off you.

1. If you apply foundation to the whole of your eye area it will even out your skin and take some of the dark shadow away. Plus highlight your nose area and brow bone to make your face brighter.

2. If you use a brush to apply your make up, afterwards go over it with a sponge to get rid of any brush lines.

3. When washing your hair comb through your conditioner and leave it half an hour to make it smooth then rinse with one cold wash to add shine.

4. When your nails are looking abit yellow rub some white vinegar on them using some cotton wool.

5. For puffy eyes leave cucumber on for as long as possible as well as using a cold face mask.

6. To make lips soft mix together a spoon full and a half of sugar and one teaspoon of olive oil and use as a scub on the lips or use a tooth brush to rub of dry skin and your lips will plumpen and enrich their true colour.

7. If you have dry skin don’t use bars of soaps and avoid 'some' cheap washing up liquids instead use shower gel and wear gloves.

8. Smile when applying blush.

9. To reduce oil from your face mix together natural yogurt and crushed strawberries then apply and leave till dry then wash off, or separate an egg and apply the white to your face and wait until dry then wash off with warm water and then apply the yellow, wait till dry then wash with warm water. (If you are going to use the egg mask be sure to avoid eyes and mouth at all times!)

10. If you put tooth paste on spots for several days they will dry up and drop off. (Doesn’t work straight away so keep applying each day and it will eventually drop off.)

A little bit of dazzle.

So I stopped off at super drug to pick up a Barry M nail polish and I noticed they had an offer on the dazzle dusts, the deal was 3 for £9.99 I think which works out about £3.50 less, not bad really. I haven’t ever used dazzle dusts before so I thought it would be a great chance to try them out.

I picked up three different colours to try out and I really like them! Most of you know the dazzle dusts are in two groups the ‘Fine’ dazzle dust and the normal, fine dazzle dusts simply mean it’s a softer colour but also not such big chunks of glitter so to speak. So the fine dust is going to be better if you just want a hint of colour and not too much. Normal basically is completely different instead of being small it has thick and rich pigments and really pretty bright bold colours which is nice if you’re looking to add alot of colour to your lid.

So the first colour I picked up is number '27' in the normal dazzle dust and I picked it up because it’s a really pretty simple white. I thought it would be great to mix with other colours as a top layer or a corner dot.

Next was again from the normal range and is number '3', now this colour court my eye with its beautiful colour and rich pigments I just thought it was a really nice summer colour and just different to anything I’ve ever had before. The only thing is in the picture below it looks pink but it’s actually a peachy kind of colour.

Lastly from the fine section I got number '5', a pretty baby blue colour and I just thought it would be great used as an eyeliner on the top or bottom. I have actually used it on the bottom lid and it looked really pretty I have to say. Because it’s not rich in colour it’s a nice colour to possibly cover your whole top lid without it looking just full of glitter and bright colours.

I really like the range I picked out because as most of you know Barry M have an amazing rainbow selection of colours in all there make up range and sometimes it’s hard to just go away with one or two things. I nearly took the whole range but I thought I would collect it bit by bit and review.

So as Barry M would say “Wake up your make up!”

Bride wars review!

This is a quick review on the film ‘Bride wars’ because I love love love it! I think it’s a really good film, it has a really nice story line, very funny and fab make up!

The story line is about two women who have been best friends all their lives and ever since they were little have wanted to get married. So that day comes when both their boyfriends propose *aww* and they both go to the top wedding planner were they chose there dates in June. Later that day they both get a phone call telling them there weddings have been booked on the same day! So it all goes wrong from there, the two bestfriends then start doing silly little pranks on each other which are very funny! But I wan't say what because I really want you all to see the film for yourself.

Finally there wedding day happens and it goes wrong for one of the girls who then realises she doesn’t want to marry him anyway and misses her bestfriend. You can probably guess the ending, they become friends again and later on have a baby on the same day.

I really do think this is a nice funny, soppy film and is now my favourite film so I defiantly recommend you seeing it if it’s your kind of thing!

Fake nails.

As most of you know from my past shopping haul my mum and dad where having a doo to celebrate there anniversary and my dad’s birthday, so I wanted to try out some fake nails, I had then done before at a salon called ‘Snake hips’ and they where amazing except the price (£55). Instead of having all that done again and destroying my nails I wanted to just try some simple glue on nails from Superdrug.

The nails where called ‘Nailene – French Finish’ and they cost about £7.99 and from first look I thought they would be perfect... or not. But it’s not all bad so ill start with the good, In terms of the glue to start off with its really really strong and dry’s in seconds. It’s really easy to apply them and they do look really beautiful when they are on.

But there are some bad things like I said that defiantly put me off buying them again. For starters although the glue is strong and fast drying at first the glue seems to go everywhere and I ended up sticking my fingers together because of this. Also because the glues goes everywhere it then goes on your new nails when you stick them down, which you then can’t get off. So with your nails covered in glue it’s not a good start. After I had stuck them on the same day two nails fell off and I had to re-glue them! For £7.99 nails I expected them to last longer than a day? This then happened the next day again and also today one fell off so I’m not very impressed.

Even though there are alot of bad things they did look nice when they stayed on long enough!

I really don’t feel bad saying to you not to get this product because it’s really not worth it! If you have found them okay then that’s great but I feel that they are abit much for nails that aren’t going to last. Anyway this is just my opinion and I said I would be honest, we all have different ones but I hope this helped some of you.

Magazine freebie!

After doing my normal Saturday shopping spree I nearly always get a magazine and of cause I did. For one I love magazines purely for updates, news, fashion and the freebies! In the United Kingdom it is a common thing in the top fashion magazines to put in freebies such as bags, make up, jewellery, clothes and nail polishes. Now I have to say I do love freebies although they aren’t going to be the best quality I still think they are nice little gifts that make the magazine that little bit nicer.

So anyway I noticed as it’s that holiday time again that once again magazines are bringing in alot of summer freebies for us girls! I was looking through then all and I nearly went for a summer bag but then I spotted the August version of ‘Elle’ and it had this really really pretty top and I just had to get it! It was the cutest little pale blue top with gathering in the middle.

Plus! yes there’s a plus, it came with two magazines not one but two! Which was even better. I myself love the ‘Elle’ magazine because they are simply packed full of ideas and all the latest fashion. But I think even if I didn’t like ‘Elle’ I would still get it for the top because it looks so cute!

So if you’re like me and love the cheep freebies in magazines then defiantly go get this magazine because it really is a cute top!

A few days ago I came across ‘MakeupJUNKEE’s blog’ and noticed she was having a contest so I decided to enter as I really like her blog and it’s a really fun contest which I really just wanted to enter for the fun of the question. I defiantly think you should all give it ago for abit of fun!

Teacup madness.

I wanted to share with you all this beautiful little necklace I picked up from Accessorize because I simply love it! It’s so adorable and so small. The necklace is the shape of a little teacup and spoon and the detail is just really lovely. The teacup is a baby pink with dark pink and blue flowers with a gold edging to make it look older. The spoon is a solid gold colour with little dots around the edge. The necklace itself is slightly longer than the average size necklace and has the Accessorize sign of an ‘A’ on a little gold oval shape. I really do love this little piece of jewellery as it’s so dainty and simply cute! It’s defiantly a favourite.

Shopping haul.

First things first a big sorry for the very late update I’ve been too busy for my own good so I am finally relaxing at the hands of my blog and yes I’ve been shopping! But for clothes yes a big bundle of summer clothes. After waking up in massive heat wave I jumped at the chance to wear pretty much nothing and realised I had hardly any clothes for the hot whether hmm what will I do aha. Well of course I had to go shopping and I thought I would share a few of the items I got because I got some bargains in the masses of sales and I really like them.

So here we go ill start with the Topshop items. I saw this top on Lollipop26 blog and I fell in love with it, it’s a really pretty summer top plus it’s smart enough for work or nights out.

It has a really gorgeous petal design around the collar and it’s a really nice light cream colour throughout. I really really love this top it’s now my favourite for the month, so thanks to Lollipop26 for posting it on her blog because I love it.

Topshop - £28.00

This dress I picked up for a doo that my mum is having to celibate her anniversary and my dad’s birthday and I have to say I’m really impressed, I was going for the prom style look but I really like this formal modern looking dress.

It’s a gorgeous dark blue colour with a thin black ribbon around the middle with a tiny flat bow in the centre. It has a straight style so it gives the effect of looking taller and skinnier which I think is always a bonus for me. Plus it was in the Kate moss section which is awesome. Although the price is a little pricey I defiantly think it’s worth it.

Topshop - £50.00

Next stop Jane Norman, id been after this top id seen a while back in there but I didn’t really want to pay £28.00 for it because I wasn’t sure it was worth it but like I said before about bargains I got one! It was in the sale for £11.00 and I just couldn’t say no.

I love the light material and the slight bagginess plus the length is great to wear with leggings. The Paris design is gorgeous and I really like the black and crème together.

Jane Norman - £11.00

After getting the really pretty blue dress from TopShop I realised I had to get matching blue shoes of course! And I happen to walk passed Peacocks and see this really bright but lovely pear of high heel shoes and knew straight away they would be perfect.

The colour was a gorgeous bright blue colour and a good large heel.

So for my bargains I went into INNOVATIONS where they sell really cheap clothes that look just as good as the designer ones.

I saw this bow top in Quiz for £16.00 but they had it £4.00 cheaper so I thought I may as well pay less for something that looks exactly the same as the full prices one. I love the light material again and the length is perfect and I could even wear it as a dress. The bow is very in with the blues, reds and whites and I just love bows so it’s perfect.

INNOVATIONS - £12.00

I then found an Anker top and I really liked it because it was slightly thicker a more unusual and just completely different from anything I had ever had before so again I found a great barging.

So I’ve had a really good days shopping and I’ve come home with some really nice tops for summer as well as some gorgeous shoes for my mum’s doo, and like always I recommend all of these they defiantly are worth the money.

NYX websites.

I’ve been after some NYX products for a while now as they are so cheap! Plus they are extremely good quality products! I decided to just go for it and order some from their official website (http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/) but then it all went downhill. I was sorting out the payment and you have to type in your address and that was when I found out they don’t ship to the United Kingdom ‘BUMMER!’ So I’ve been emailing NYX and asking if they would ship to the UK but unfortunately they apologised and said they were unable to but they did give me two other email addresses to get in contact with to see if they can help me locate the product in the UK or at least a website that will ship to the UK. I am still awaiting an email from both companies so I can’t tell you about what they said. In the mean time I did some of my own research on ‘google.com’ and SUCSESS I have found a few websites which ship NYX products to the UK the only down side is... they don’t have the nude colours I wanted *grrrr* anyway I am still looking but I thought I would give you the names of the websites as I’m sure not everyone wants nude lips so here you are guys:

Body butter love x3! And 50% off!!

This is another body shop haul sorry guys I know its getting boring but this is a real treat!

Body shop At Home are doing a special offer of 50% off on five of their body butters which work out at £6.10 each!! They are being advertised as new but they have actually been out before. I found three purple colored containers and fell in love with there smell and I can honestly say to you get them you will love them I have already ordered them all! The three amazing body butters where ‘Passion Fruit,’ ‘Raspberry!’ and ‘Pomegranate.’ They do actually smell exactly like there fruit which doesn’t always happen with body butters but I promise these smell exactly like them and are so nice I can’t tell you enough how nice they are. I would have to say my favorite is the ‘Raspberry’ because it really is a strong raspberry smell its not like a hint it really is a full on Raspberry moisturize which is great if you like to give a rich powerful flavor to you skin if not I would recommend the other two as they have a much more natural smell but just as nice! There are also two other body butters on the offer ‘Peach’ and ‘Almond’ which I haven’t tried yet so I couldn’t give you a comment on them. Just so you know this offer is only on the ‘Body Shop At Home’ and not the ‘Body shop’ for the moment it is possible that the Body Shop will be doing the same offer but as I don’t work there I couldn’t give you a definite yes or no answer. So if you are wanting to get a hold of these products type in google.com and search ‘the body shop at home’ and you will be able to find them there.

So again I 100% recommend getting these three body butters as they are on offer but not for long and also there are the two other flavors which you may like as well. Plus this offer is also on Body scrub & polish, shower gels, fragrances & body sprays and also body lotions so defiantly check it out if you’re a body shop fan as I am!

This morning I received a rather nice package for the Body shop! I had ordered a product from the Body shop and instead of just getting the one product my very kind mother ordered me the other five products I wanted.

My package came with:

Vitamin E Face Mist description: ‘With panthenol to soften and rosewater to refresh. Close your eyes and spray on face. Excellent for setting make up.’ I would defiantly agree with the description, I find myself spraying this on all day as it feels so nice and refreshing. It does help to keep my make up on as well which is always a good thing! In terms of smell it doesn’t really have one but for this product I really don’t think it needs one. I really recommend this as Vitamin E is very good for you.

Deep sleep dreamy pillow and body mist description: ‘Spray onto body, pillow or sheets before bedtime. Night-time movement releases the natural fragrance.’ This was something I wanted to try as iv being having some sleeping problems, I haven’t actually tried this yet so I can’t comment on it but I will do a separate review another time for you.

The Body Shop Foundation Brush, there is no description for this as there is no need but I really wanted this as it is a cheaper solution to buying Mac brusher. Body shop brushes are extremely soft and last a very long time, they are just like Mac brushes just that little bit cheaper in fact when I was in Mac they even recommend these brushes. I do recommend getting one as they will last you a long time.

Peppermint Smoothing Pumice Foot Scrub description: ‘Intensely exfoliating volcanic rock to smooth and soften even the roughest of skin.’ I one 100% agree with that description it really does work I used the tiniest amount and you could honestly see the difference straight away. I do recommend this if you have dry feet or simply if you’re like me and you crave soft skin everywhere! It has an extremely strong peppermint smell so if you don’t like peppermint I wouldn’t recommend it but I happen to think it’s a rather nice smell.

Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion description: ‘Community trade cocoa butter and smoothing grape acids keep feet soft and smooth all day long, peppermint oil refreshes and revives.’ This lotion is very soft and feels so nice it really does last the whole day. Again it has a peppermint smell but not as strong, it leaves my feet feeling refreshed and smooth and again I do recommend this for those of you who have dry skin or just like nice smooth skin like me.

Vitamin C Eye Reviver description: ‘Brightening radiance boost.’ This was a product that I wanted to try so again I will be doing a separate review for you all on how I got on. Vitamin C is another good Vitamin for your skin, so any Vitamin E or C products are worth getting!

So I am very happy with everything I got and for the ones I have not yet tried I’m looking forward to trying them and telling you how I got on, but for the ones I do know and have used I honestly recommend them although there prices are a little high they will last you and do what you want them to do.

Cucumber my eyes love you!

A quick solution to stop puffy eyes. Sometimes when you’re a little tearful or very run down from not sleeping you’re eyes can quite often become enlarged and puffy on the outer top lid and lower lid, which can sometimes cause the top lid to droop making your eyes seem smaller. I’ve had this problem a few days now from not sleeping well and i found nothing works better then two slices of cucumber! Just plane grocery store cucumber no creams, no nothing just simply place the cucumber over your eyes and relax. I would recommend having a nice bubble bath and using a nice fresh face mask and then you can simply relax in the bath with a face mask and two slices of cucumber over your eyes. You should leave your cucumber on for a maximum of half an hour and i promise you will notice a difference. This is something you could probably do every day as it is a natural remedy and does not contain harsh ingredients such as alcohol so it won’t sting at all or leave your eyes red like some creams may do. So its quick, it works and its simply perfect after a long hard day just to come home and relax. So to all you girls take some time out and relax.

No more oily skin!

Like most girls my age I suffer from oily skin in hot weather, I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to work. ..Until today! I came across a body shop shine control in my sister’s bedroom and decided to give it ago. The product is called 'Seaweed daily shine control moisture cream,' I’ve had it on all day under my makeup and I was amazed that all through the day I had a perfect matt finished make up with no grease! This really made me love sunny weather again!

The description on the back says exactly what I would say:
‘This light, oil-free moisturiser helps to control shine and leaves skin feeling fresh.’

The formulation is really light which is a key thing for any shine free moisturisers and it gives a really nice texture and a nice fresh feeling all day. It really is the perfect moisturiser for oily skin on a hot or cold day and I really recommend it!

Because I found this product in my sister’s room I don’t actually know how much it would cost to buy at the body shop but if anyone is interested I can find out the price for you as my mum has started doing body shop parties again.

A cheap solution for silky hair.

I give you an extremely cheep solution to silky soft hair! Are you ready......I give you ‘GLISS!’ Gliss is seriously one of my favourites when I don’t won’t to spend a lot of money, it’s so amazing I can’t stop touching my hair! Gliss is by Schwarzkopf which I’m sorry I don’t know anything about the maker but it’s not really that important. Gliss comes in a range of different types il give you a few names of what you can get:
They are all called ‘Gliss hair repair’ and come in a conditioner and shampoo -

Total repair = I love! This is what I use all the time and I love it! I use the conditioner after shampooing and I use about a plum size amount which I know is a lot but I found it’s the right amount for me, I apply it from the bottom of my ears down wards. Do not apply it on top of your head even if it’s really dry because it will make your hair feel disgusting and look awful it will just look unwashed and feel greasy. So once iv applied I use my fingers to run through my hair to make sure all the conditioner gets everywhere and then I leave it for as long as possible the longest iv left it is about twenty minutes, then rinse off and the result is amazing you can feel it straight away! It just feels so soft and when it’s dry it just feels amazing so I defiantly recommend!

Anti-split = My sister has now started using and said that it helped her split end problem as she has really long hair so it tends to split more. I used this once and to be honest I can’t really give you my opinion as it was one time.

Colour protect = Again my sister has used this but I haven’t, even thought I really should as my hair is coloured.

There are a few more but I can’t actually remember what they are called. So if you are interested in a cheaper shampoo or conditioner I recommend Gliss because it really does work. A couple of Asos magazines ago Asos actually put an add in for it which they wouldn’t do if it was a bad product, plus my hairdresser said ‘Gliss is a great product as an alternative to salon products’ So defiantly look into this. Where to find it:

I really wanted to tell you all about this because sometimes it’s hard to find cheap products that really do work when you can’t afford to buy the more expensive ones. So I really hope this helps some of you!

Dry lips = Blistex?

I’ve had a problem with dry lips for a while now and I've found nothing helps! So yesterday I decided I would try something completely different from creams and lip balms. So I went into boots where they have a section just for lip care, and they had several products by ‘Blistex’ which I had never tried before so I thought maybe I would give it ago. Now the products were all different but I found one that was just completely different from anything I had ever used before it was a ‘Lip Splash Liquid Moisturiser’, and instead of being a cream or balm it was a liquid solution which you applied by rolling a cold silver ball over your lips which slowly produced liquid to your lips. So I decided to go for it and see how I got on, I've been using it for two days and the first time I put it on I was amazed. I could feel it working straight away! It has a really nice feeling, it’s a cold feeling but it’s really refreshing and you can really feel the moisture working! My lips remand soft and refreshed throughout the day, although I did keep putting it on throughout the day which probably helped. The next day instead of waking up with crusty rank lips I woke up with blissful smoothness! This really made my day. My boyfriend even liked the smell of it so must be good! Plus it doesn’t have a disgusting taste if you get it in your mouth it tastes fine. All in all I do recommend this product to those who suffer from dry lips as I do, but please remember everyone is different and it may not work for everyone but it’s still worth ago!

Bourjois letdown!

I recently purchased ‘Coup de Theatre 2 en 1’ mascara by Bourjois and I have to say I’m so disappointed with it. I adore Bourjois products but this mascara really was a letdown.

In terms of how it looked I give it a thumbs up it did look great and really separated my lashes out and gave them length which was great, and also gave abit of volume so for how it looks it’s great. So your probably wondering ‘...then what’s wrong with it?’ right? Well in terms of the brush itself I’ve never had such a harsh brush it was awful it hurt every time I used it! I tried everything going slower going faster it was a horrible experience and I do not recommend this product at all which I feel awful saying as I love Bourjois. Although please don’t be put off by Bourjois products as they are still amazing products except this one I have to say wasn’t.

So after my bad experience I’m not going to be using it again it only cost about £5.89 so not to bad but I can now see why! Anyway I’ve noticed a lot of people have recommended ‘L’Oreal voluminous mascara’ for being a great volumising and lengthening mascara so I’ve decided the next time I’m in boots I will purchase one and let you know what I think of the product. I’ve never actually used a L’Oreal mascara so it will be something new and interesting for me to see. So fingers crossed it will be a nice SOFT brush!

If any of you have used this mascara I would love to hear what you think about it and whether it’s worth me looking into.

After falling in love with my first Eyeko nail polish I decided to get another! The colour I picked up is a lot different and I’m still not 100% sure if I like it. The colour is called ‘Eyeko Pastel Polish,’ although Eyeko say on their website that it is a blue colour I would defiantly say its more greeny blue, not much green but just a hint of it. I do think that it is a pretty colour, I’m just not sure it’s the colour for me, But I have to say I still think it is extremely cute, and dead cheep for what you get!

Barry M vs. GOSH!

A few weeks ago I picked up two new nude lipsticks from superdrug and I have to say I love them! Now the two I picked up were Barry M – Marshmellow (101) and GOSH – Darling Velvet touch (134).
So for swatchy goodness:

Let’s start with GOSH, well I love love love the colour it’s the perfect nude colour! It feels so soft, really creamy and the texture is great. The name is really sweet. It has a slight shine to it which I think is really pretty. As regards to how long it stays on I have to be honest and say it normally lasts me half a day or less before I have to touch it up, but I mean it’s not bad it lasts a lot longer than most lipsticks iv found. And I think the price really is good for the quality of the lipstick.

GOSH – Darling velvet touch 134 (£5.87 Superdrug)

Next Barry M! Okay again I love this lipstick, it's another nude colour but much more pinkie it has a much more tougher creaminess, but is just as soft as the ‘Gosh – darling.’ I found this lipstick to be a much more of a blocked colour meaning that it’s not a faded colour it really shows up well. Also on how long it lasts I would actually say it lasts longer then Gosh, not much more but still. Again I think the name is rather cute ‘Marshmellow’ and I would defiantly say it really is a marshmellow colour.

Barry M - Marshmellow 101 (£4.25 Superdrug)

So I’ve had both colours for over a week now and I still love them! If I’m honest iv used the Gosh more than Barry M because I think for me it’s the perfect nude colour the Barry M is still a gorgeous colour but for me I like the Gosh lipstick that tiny bit more. But that’s just me we all have our own opinions and I would love to no yours and what nude colour is your favourite for the week.

I will be continuing to buy Gosh and Barry M cosmetics and comparing the two products and asking for your opinion as well!

Today the hauls, reviews and tutorials start!

First thing a great big iya to everyone! As you can tell im new to the whole blog thing so bare with me. my names Zoe but I prefer my nickname 'Lace' so call me what ever. I got the inspiration to start this blog after visiting other blogs which I will give their names later on. But after seeing all there amazing make up collections and hauls I decided blogging is for me! My general theme is of cause going to be based on my name ‘Nude lace turns to colour’ the reason for this is that I’m the kind of girl who’s lived by nude make ups all her life and iv found the light people! Yes iv finally found it and it was.. COLOURFUL!! So from now on I will be trying to convert to using more colours on my everyday make up, Very exciting! So I will be showing you everything I buy from my Saturday trips to the heavenly shops, also I will be telling you my opinions on all the products and whether I think they are worth it or seriously not. Plus I really want to know what you all think! This blog will be full of nothing but the truth and that shull be my little promise to you all who follow my blog! Finaly a big thank you to visiting my little blog!

Now that’s out the way.. yes! I went shopping and let’s have a little peek at something’s I picked up at a few places.

MAC STUDIO FIX FLUID! £19.00 (with pump £21.45 - definatly worth it!)

MAC! yes its MAC and its actually my very first MAC product and im so happy with it that its going to be the first of many happy memories together! i carried my MAC bag around the city with pride. Now in MAC they have two different types of foundation a ‘yellow base’ and ‘pink base’ now this basically means that they can give you exactly the right colour you need, which means no more lines! So for example if you are using a yellow based foundation and it’s just not quite right it’s a bit ‘yellow’ then the chances are you need the same colour just in a pink based colour, you understanding? This is what I love about MAC they give you a long talk about what colour you need but the other foundations don’t actually say if they are yellow base or pink so most of the time it’s a guessing game.

I would defiantly recommend this product as it feels amazing and goes on so smooth and really does just blend to your skin tone. Unfortunately I have a few greasy patches on my face, but amazingly MAC’s foundation has an ingredient in it that stops grease all day! I know all day! My love for MAC continues. So I would defiantly say if you want a foundation that gives a matt finish, lasts all day and looks amazing I would say ‘MAC studio fix fluid’ it really works and instead of using your fingers or a sponge use it with a foundation brush it gives alot nicer effect.

EYEKO! nail polish £1.99 (superdrug)

EYEKO wow I love you this nail polish is not only so cute! but looks so pretty im really liking the baby colour effect. The price for what you get i think is amazing, although there is a downside they only have about six colours which are:

1. ‘Eyeko Punk Polish’ – Bright pink
2. ‘Eyeko Red Polish’ - Red
3. ‘Eyeko Pretty Polish’ – Baby pink
4. ‘Eyeko Vamp Polish’ - Black
5. ‘Eyeko Disco Polish’ – Sparkle silver

So as you can see not a great deal of colours but still so cute!

HELLO KITTY LIP BALM - £2.99 (H&M)

Get this product! it smells loverly, looks cute and makes your lips so soft. I am a big fan of Hello Kitty and i really love this because it really does work, I'v had very dry lips the last few days and this has really help. Using it at night and first thing in the morning really makes my lips go soft as a peach! Plus the packageing is a bow! and im a sucker for bows so what can i say, its perfect.

Body shop eyeshadow - about £7.00

This was a gift from my best mate bless her, 'thanks steph!' I really like this colour and i think its a great start for me because i have been using it alot and i have to say it looks really nice it has a very nice texture with a slight shimer, its kind of a dark pinky purple. Even thought its alot of money it will last you a long time and body shop is always great quality, infact MAC even recomends it so it must be good! So yeah i would definatly give this ago, they have a range of different colours, I will be buying more and asking you what you think of the colours.

BEAUTYUK - £2.99 (superdrug)

Okay this is something new for me i picked it up from superdrug as it was cheep but also i thought it would be something great to start off with. Colours are great it's a good selection of colours which really arnt as bright as you think they are. As for texture its okay i mean its not the best but then it was'nt that expensive, for a base coat its great but for all over my eye im not won over by it, sorry BEAUTYUK. Im not sure if i would get it again but it was great to test out colours.
