I'm back and.....

I'm finally back!

Its been far to long and i do apologise there has been some issues i had to deal with but i have some incredible news for you....

On the 1st March 2010 I GOT ENGAGED!!!

It was our two year anniversary and my boyfriend took me to the first restaurant we ever went to together and we had a lovely meal. Throughout the whole thing he kept fiddling with things so i kept asking what was up and he said nothing, so i thought nothing of it. By the end of our meal he grabbed my hand and told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of this life with me. He then put a large box in my hands and told me to open it, I had no idea what was going on so i opened the big box and inside was a small black box i pulled it out and inside was a beautiful ring, i think everything must have gone blank because i just couldn't stop smiling. He got up and came beside me got down on one knee infront of the whole restaurant and said 'Zoe will you marry me!' Of cause i lept up and said yes and the whole restaurant cheered. It has got to be the happiest moment of my life.

We have decided to get married sooner rather then wait so we have set a date for June 4th next year. So i will be keeping you all posted on designs, flowers and of cause the dress.

I'm sorry i have not been around but I'm back and ready to blog and I'm defiantly feeling a giveaway coming very soon!

Laptop broken!

Hey guys, unfortunately I haven’t been on due to the fact my laptop has decided to die on me, so I’m currently in the middle of fixing it and I hope to back with you soon.

Also I have something amazing news to tell you all so make sure you keep a look out for that.

Today me and my boyfriend are not doing anything because on the 1st march it will be our 2 year anniversary so we wanna do something big then, So today I’m gunna go out and spend some time with my friends on valentines.

I need some advice on Youtube and Mac.

I have two questions I really need help with and if anyone can help me please leave a comment or feel free to email me.

1) I'm really feeling that I want to get on Youtube because unfortunately I really don’t have a good camera so when I take pictures for you guys you can't really see (hence why I have not done an eye tutorial yet.) So I’m looking at video recorders that have: Extremely high quality, a clear zoom feature and really good sound quality. Price wise I don’t really want to pay too much but I understand it will be in the three figure zone i.e. hundreds.

If anyone knows any good video recorders or is on youtube and have a great camera please let me know. Thank you.

2) Secondly I’m going for a Mac lesson tomorrow and afterwards I will be able to get £25 to spend on any Mac products so my question is what do you think I should get?

Barry M nail polishes great for Valentines!

I wanted a new nail polish and as most of you know Barry M do some of the best beautiful coloured nail polishes!

Looking through the rainbow of colours Barry M provides I found these two pretty pink colours:




I love both the colours they just court my eye as being really cute colours together for Valentine’s Day maybe? They were £2.95 each which is super cheap for how amazing Barry M nails polishes are, I’d defiantly recommend Barry M nail polishes they are long lasting, fast drying and normally only need one coat to get a full cover.

Okay so the first colour is called ‘Baby Pink’ and is number ‘119’ there it is on its own:

So cute right...

And the next colour I got is called ‘Pink Iridescent’ and the number is ‘264’ so here it is on top of Baby pink:

I love this combo I think it’s really cute and a really nice idea for Valentine’s Day if you don’t won’t to wear red.

New favourite lip balm!

I’m gunna keep this post very quick because the pictures explain better about how amazing this product is.

Okay basically I got a really nice gift set from Superdrug from my boyfriend at Christmas (thank you babe) and I was taking it all out of the box the other day to just try everything out basically. So inside was some really nice shower gel, bath salts, bubble bath and this coconut & shea butter lip balm.

While I was unpacking this my lips were completely dry so I thought I’d just rub a little of the lip balm on my lips just to see what would happen.

and after about a minute..... I’ll let the pictures do the talking......

Yeah that is amazing super soft no dryness what so ever and felt so nice on my lips I was just shocked I wasn’t expecting that at all from a Superdrug brand, I’m not saying Superdrug brands are bad, I love them I’m just saying compared to a Blistex stick I think this is way better.

The only down side is I’m not sure they sell this product on its own, I for one have never seen it but I really hope they do because it’s amazing!!

If you have dry lips then this product is defiantly a must buy!

My first Bumpits hairstyle.

I did a post a while back telling you I had bought a box of Bumpits which for those of you who haven’t read that post Bumpits are basically semi-circle shapes that slide in under your hair to give it volume. I have to apologise because I haven’t done a post yet to show you what they fully look like so I really am sorry guys it will be coming I promise but for now I thought I’d show you my first attempt at using them.

I basically combed my hair back then lifted the very top layer up and fitted the medium size ‘clip’ so to speak under nether. I then gently comb it in place and I decided to just put it up in a fun bun.
So this is what it looks like, I’m sorry it’s nothing special just a simple style.

Yeah so it gives a nice bit of volume not to dramatic, I wore this out to my course all day it didn’t fall out, nobody could see it, it looked natural and didn’t move at all! So it’s defiantly a thumbs up from me it’s just so easy and simple. When you go to take it out it doesn’t pull on your hair at all which I was amazed at you’ll see why when I show you the pictures, sorry there not up.

I actually really like this look it’s just simple and fun, something different.

I defiantly recommend this if you’re looking for volume easy or if you’re like me with long hair and it’s harder to get volume to stay this is great for that!

Has the snow gone for another year.

I was sorting out my photo's for the next posts and I thought I'd just show you the snow we had a few weeks back, I know this is rather late but here we go say goodbye snow.

(This is the first time my cat has ever seen snow and she had no idea what to do it was rather funny to watch as she is a house cat).

My thoughts,wishes,prayers and hopes go to Haiti.

My heart goes out to Haiti at this time of sorrow I really cannot begin to imagine how they are all feeling at this time. Some without there families, friends, loved ones, homes, lives I really do pray that Haiti can somehow pull through.

Although I have little money as it is I know that Haiti needs it more than me, I would rather go without food if I knew it would feed them. So I will be donating some money to Haiti and I just hope that my little donation goes a long way.

Guys if you can spear any money at all then please do so because we cannot begin to imagine what it’s like for them and they really need this more than us so please try to give a little to any of these:

Jenifer's Body nails from the film.

If any of you have seen the film ‘Jenifer’s Body’ you will have seen the actress Megan Fox’s trade mark nails. Now as soon as I saw them I new I had to have it. This is seriously simple all you need is any favourite hot pink colour you love and just a plain black, if you want to you can add a clear top coat as well.

So this is her nails:

What do you think yay or nay?
I really like it it’s a definite preppy yet dark nail design if you can call it a design.

In the film there is a scene where Jenifer (Megan Fox) burns her tongue (don’t worry it doesn’t hurt her and it’s not icky at all) I tried to take the same picture but I accidently slipped and burnt my tongue heh only I could do that but anyway I tried to copy just not with a lit lighter this time or my burnt tongue aha.

(Really sorry i'm not looking my best at all I took this late at night yesturday but you get the idea of her trade mark nails and lighter.)

My 10 quick tips No.3

1. Always clean your brushes at least once a week if you can do it more than that.

2. Make sure you ‘de’ hair your brush as often as possible because all the dirt from your hair stays onto your brush and you are then brushing it back onto your hair so make sure to ‘de’ hair as often as possible epically if you are like me with long hair.

3. Instead of using white eyeliner use a flesh toned eye pencil to create an opened eye as well just in a more natural way.

4. When you wash your hair don’t rub your hair because this can cause breakage and more knots. Instead pat your hair dry and if you can let it dry naturally.

5. If you wear hair extensions daily make sure you wash then at least every other day and also give them a hair mask once a week to keep them soft.

6. If you wear fake tan make sure to moisturise as much as possible i.e. 2-3 times a day morning and night as this really helps to keep your tan lasting longer.

7. If you use blotting paper make sure not to rub at all just make small little dabs with very light pressure. (I myself am not a fan at all of blotting paper but if you are I hope that helps.)

8. If you make a mistake when applying mascara and it happens to go on your eyelid simply use the very end of a cotton bud (or Q tip) and simply twist around once and any mistakes will come right off.

9. Very simple but effective, make sure under your nails are extremely clean at all times, one of the causes of blemishes on the face or body comes from bacteria and dirt underneath the nails that is spread every time you touch your face.

10. To help your nails grow and to help them become stronger try not to cut your nails instead file them when needed because cutting the nail can cause it to bend making it weaker and giving it a rough edge which can take time to grow.

Three Sleek pallets!!

I went to super drug the other day and they were doing an amazing offer on all their cosmetics. The offer was three make up items for the price of two, which I thought was rather good.

So I decided to be wise and think about what to get and the three items I chose:

Three sleek pallets for £10 to me is amazing it’s a saving of £5 which I think is great!
Sleek pallets are so rich in colour and are super high quality but at a cheap price, I really do recommend you getting your hands on one of these as they really last and blend amazingly.

The fist pallet I got was the ‘Original’


This is one of my favourites as you can see it’s a mixture of colours that I love as you can use this for anything?

Number two is ‘Sunset’

Wow now Sunset is so rich in colour and at first looks like it’s going to be really bright but actually it’s not as bright as you think it is. Bright colours are great for summer time, nights out and there great as a build up colour.

Lastly I got ‘Storm’

Storm is a great palette for any colour Smokey eyes I think it has a great selection of dark colours and a great set of naturals as well.

All in all I’m really pleased with this I love sleek and I can’t wait to get the whole set of palettes.

Few days late but Happy New Year!

Once again I'm sorry this is late but I hope you all had a wonderful happy new year. I have to say New Years Eve for me was one word 'Vodka' ....Yeah I may have drank rather a lot starting of the night at 3.00pm with the drink.

So this is what I wore out for my night out on the town:

But New years isn’t just about the drink it’s about starting a fresh with a whole new year of decisions, fun, dreams, wishes, love, friendship and so much more. It’s about enjoying life for another year and I for one have a feeling this year is gunna be a good one for me, I just have a feel.

So my new year’s resolutions are:
GET FIT! (I think everyone has this every year but I love working out it just gives me a buzz)
Get into a good job
Tell someone I forgive them
Become a stronger more confident women
BLOG MORE!
Enjoy life to the full
Finish decorating my flat
